Hung Heats Up the Action
Level 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
On a heads-up turn of 8♦3♥2♥Q♦, Dinh Manh Hung checked and subsequently check-raised from 9,000 to 30,000 gainst Czar Ian Marcos. The latter folded and Hung claimed the pot.
One hand later, Ginbert de Villa jammed for 72,000 and Hung flat-called on the button.
Ginbert de Villa: A♦K♦
Dinh Manh Hung: A♥J♥
Hung improved on the J♦10♠6♠ flop after which de Villa stood up from his chair to film the final outcome with his smart phone. Nothing changed with the 10♥ turn and 7♦ river, ending his run.
Hao Lin and Richard Sheils were also spotted on the payout desk as well as the Day 2 field dropped below 70 hopefuls.
