(Sri)Harsh(a) End for Thompson in Classic Flip
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
A three-bet to 70,000 was in front of Sriharsha Doddapaneni and Gary Thompson then pushed all-in for 463,000 total. Doddapaneni asked for a count and then went into the tank for more than two minutes before he made the call.
Gary Thompson: A♦K♦
Sriharsha Doddapaneni: J♥J♦
The classic flip was all but over on the J♣6♠6♣ flop as Thompson required running kings or aces to survive. Doddapaneni hit the cherry on top with the J♠ turn to improve to quads, as a meaningless 2♠ river completed the board.
