The A♥J♥7♠ flop gave Welo the top set while Gonzaga had a gutshot. Welo's bet of 150,000 resulted in a call by Gonzaga, who it was checked to after the A♣ turn. Gonzaga bet 250,000 and Welo flat-called which led them to the 8♣ river.
Welo checked again and Gonzaga bet 500,000 with 1,300,000 behind. The check-shove by the Norwegian followed and Gonzaga snap-folded.
