Dela Cruz Restores Comfortable Lead

Edwin Dela Cruz made it 250,000 to go with the A♦9♣ and Alessandro Taranto defended the K♦8♠. The J♠7♠5♠ flop was check-called by Taranto for 200,000 with his spade flush draw.

After the 2♣ turn, Taranto checked again and Dela Cruz bet once more to rake in the next pot after a fold from Taranto.

Taranto raised the button to 200,000 next with the 8♠7♥, earning a call from Dela Cruz with the J♣5♠. The Q♦10♥5♥ flop gave Taranto the bottom pair and he check-called for 150,000 to improve on the J♥ turn.

Dela Cruz checked once more and Taranto now bet 350,000 for his opponent to call, as a blank 4♣ river completed the board. The third street in a row was checked by Dela Cruz and Taranto fired a third barrel worth 1,800,000 for more than the pot to get snap-called.

Dela Cruz dragged in a big pot and pulled back into a very comfortable lead.
