Chan Rails Yim
Michael Chan’s has go his tournament off to a great start and has just sent an unfortunate opponent to the rail. It was Chan who was the instigator in this particular hand, opening the action from under-the-gun plus one for 525 and finding two customers with Timothy Yim (cutoff) and in the big blind making the call to take the action three-way to a flop of 
.
After the big blind checked, Chan continued to sell the story of a decent hand and continuation bet 750 with Yim the only caller. The 
turn saw Chan load up a second barrel and fire again, this time for 1,700 but this was not enough to deter Yim, who called once more to keep the action heads-up to the 
river.
Chan wanted to play for the maximum and ripped in the rest of his chips and Yim went deep into the tank for several minutes but did eventually make the call, but mucked his hand and headed for the rail when Chan turned over 
for a rivered top two pairs.
The field has grown some more with Taiwan's Jack Wu signing up, as well as Hong Kong's Tsunchin Yu, Fung Lin and Chun Ming Lee and China's Canlin Chen. Yu Fai Wu is now on his second bullet of the day and Timothy Yim is evidently having a torrid time of it as he has just re-entered for the third time today to bring the total number of entrants up to 44.
