Erik Seidel with Nine Lives

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Bryn Kenney once again whittled Erik Seidel down with constant pressure and moving in over several limps and opens by the Poker Hall of Famer. However, Seidel hasn't put away and just survived his fifth time being all in.

It happened when Kenney moved all in with the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Seidel called off with the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop gave Seidel 17 outs, and he hit one when the {k-Diamonds} gave him Broadway. The meaningless {4-Diamonds} was run out on the river and Seidel doubled yet again.

River Saves Erik Seidel Once Again

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Erik Seidel moved all in for 1.12 million and Bryn Kenney debated what to do.

"Let's gamble," he said before making the call.

Kenney: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Seidel: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Seidel was dominated, but he got a good sweat on the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. The {8-Spades} turn brought Kenney one stop closer to the win, but he was denied as the {4-Diamonds} river paired the board and both players were playing the board. Chop it up.

Erik Seidel Saved By the River

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised to 100,000 and then called off for 920,000 when Bryn Kenney three-bet all in.

Kenney: {k-Spades}{5-Spades}
Seidel: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Seidel got it in good, but he fell behind on the {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop. The {7-Hearts} turn left Seidel looking for one of the two remaining eights in the deck, and he got one when the {8-Spades} spiked on the river to give him new life.

Another Double for Erik Seidel

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Erik Seidel dropped down to 660,000 before he called off when faced with a shove from Bryn Kenney.

Seidel: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Kenney: {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Seidel got it in good and held after the board ran out {6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

Erik Seidel Escapes Elimination

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Bryn Kenney moved all in from the small blind and Erik Seidel called off his short stack.

Seidel: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Kenney: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Kenney was ahead, but not after the {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop gave Seidel a pair of kings. Neither the {7-Hearts} turn nor {6-Hearts} river changed a thing and Seidel shipped the double.

Bryn Kenney Gets Erik Seidel on the Ropes

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Bryn Kenney won a nice pot off Erik Seidel and then moved all in on a couple occasions when the Poker Hall of Famer tried to limp. That has allowed Kenney to pull out to a 9-1 chip lead. Seidel just folded from the small blind and sits with just 505,000. We're guessing it's going in soon.

Slow Going

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

It's been slow going here at the start of heads-up play. There have been a couple raise and takes, but in a recent hand, when Bryn Kenney raised to 125,000 holding the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Erik Seidel defended holding the {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

When the flop came down {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Seidel checked and then folded when Kenney bet 165,000.
