Erik Seidel Doubles in First Hand

Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

With the blinds at 7,000/14,000/14,000 and a dead small blind (from Steffen Sontheimer's bust out last night), action folded to Doug Polk on the button and he simply moved all in to put the pressure on the short-stacked Erik Seidel in the big blind. The Poker Hall of Famer didn't take long to call off.

Seidel: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Polk: {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The {6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop was kind to Seidel, and he locked up the hand when the {10-Clubs} turn left Polk drawing dead. Ship the double to Seidel.
