A Fast and Loose Phil Hellmuth

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth just recently took his seat one of the most action-packed tables in the room and after watching an orbit, he's not shying away. "I'm just going to sit here and let you guys give me the money today. I'm going to pick off every one of your bluffs," Hellmuth was caught saying.

Hand #1: Hellmuth raised to 6,000 from the cutoff and Brandon Adams three-bet to 23,000 in the big blind. Hellmuth instantly called and the flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Adams led out for 28,000 and Hellmuth snap-called. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Adams checked to Hellmuth who bet 36,000. Adams folded and Hellmuth showed the {9-Diamonds}.

Hand #2: Hellmuth raised to 6,000 again and both Adams and Doug Polk called. The flop was {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and the action was checked to Adams who bet 14,000. Polk called and Hellmuth gave him a funny look before mucking his cards. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Polk check-folded to a bet of 34,000 from Adams.

Hand #3: Hellmuth shut down for one hand and folded preflop.

Hand #4: Stephen Chidwick raised to 7,000 from the hijack and Dan Smith called on the button. Hellmuth re-raised to 29,000 and both Chidwick and Smith folded.

Hand #5: Polk raised to 7,000 from the hijack and Hellmuth three-bet to 26,000 on the button. The blinds and Polk all folded their hands.
