Negreanu Picks Off Peters' Bluff to Double

Level 10 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu limped the small blind and David Peters raised to 18,000 from the big blind.

Negreanu called, and then checked the {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{A-Spades} flop to Peters who continued for 20,000. Negreanu called, and when the turn landed the {5-Clubs}, he checked again.

Peters cut out a bet of 45,000, and Negreanu made the call as the river fell the {9-Clubs}, and he checked for a third time.

Peters was forced to use a time extension chip, and when his additional 60-seconds was about to expire, he announced he was all in for 561,000.

Negreanu quickly sparked up in his seat, shook his head, said a few words and then called all in for 147,000.

Peters tabled his {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for an airball, and Negreanu tabled his {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for aces-up.
