Haxton Secures Another Double

Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Ben Yu opened to 105,000 from the highjack, Isaac Haxton called from the big blind and the flop fell {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Haxton announced pot, putting in 255,000 and Yu took some time before eventually putting Haxton in for his 360,000 stack.

Haxton quickly called and the players turned over their hands. Yu showed [akadkh2h] for a pair of aces and Haxton tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a lot of draws to go along with his pair of fives.

The {5-Diamonds} hit on the turn, giving Haxton trips and moving him ahead in the hand headed to river. The final card to drop was the {5-Clubs}, giving Haxton quads and more than enough to secure a double up through Yu.

Keith Lehr opened to 75,000 from the small blind, Isaac Haxton made the call and the flop came down {10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Lehr moved all in for more than enough to cover Haxton's remaining 100,000 and Haxton snap-called.

Lehr tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a pair of aces and Haxton showed {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for top two. The turn came the {k-Clubs} and Lehr was now in need of an ace. The river failed to help Lehr as the {2-Clubs} landed on the felt, giving Haxton a double through Lehr.
