Big Double for Hawkins Through Nitsche

Level 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante
Maurice Hawkins
Maurice Hawkins

After one fold, Maurice Hawkins called, and Dominik Nitsche raised to 75,000. Brian Green called and Hawkins woke up with a reraised to about 320,000. Nitsche moved all in and Green sighed and folded. Hawkins quickly called.

Hawkins: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Nitsche: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} caused Green to sigh again and say he folded {10-Spades}{9-Spades}. The {7-Clubs} and {10-Diamonds} brought nothing to trouble Hawkins and he got a double worth 467,000.

"I'm glad he had that," Hawkins said with a laugh. "And not any of that other shit."

"That shit like ten-nine of spades," Green said.

Schulman Down to Last Add-On

Level 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante

Justin Young limped for 10,000, as did Justin Ligeri and David Eldridge. From the button, Nick Schulman moved all in for 290,000 and Young iso-shoved over the top to force Ligeri and Eldridge out.

Schulman: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Young: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Schulman was forced to use his final add-on.

Koon Forces Two Reentries

Level 8 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Three players were all in when we got to Jason Koon's table, with Koon having {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} in front of him, having flopped the nut straight. Koray Aldemir had {q-}{j-} and Ryan Tosoc {a-}{j-} and the board ran out clean for Koon.

From the sound of the chatter after the hand, it seemed Koon limped and called after Tosoc and Aldemir shoved preflop. Both busted players headed to the window to reenter.
