Chidwick Gets Away from One

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Cary Katz limped in from the cutoff with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} which invited Ali Imsirovic to just call with {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} on the button. Stephen Chidwick called from the small blind with {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Bryn Kenney checked his option with {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the action checked to Imsirovic who bet 7,000 with two pair. Chidwick was the only caller with a smaller two pair.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Chidwick picked up the nut flush draw. He checked again and Imsirovic threw in another bet of 22,000. Chidwick just called and the {9-Diamonds} paired the board on the river.

Chidwick checked again and Imsirovic used up a time extension before making a huge overbet of 102,000. Chidwick let his hand go and Imsirovic dragged in the pot.
