Win One, Lose One for Peters

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 5,000 ante

Bryn Kenney and David Peters were heads-up in a three-bet pot with the flop reading {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Peters checked from the big blind with {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Kenney bet 21,000 from the cutoff holding {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Peters called and the {6-Clubs} landed on the turn. Peters checked again and Kenney fired out a bet of 49,000 with his top pair. Peters wasted little time before sending his cards to the muck.

In the next hand, Kenney opened to 10,000 with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Peters three-bet to 42,000 with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} in the small blind. Stephen Chidwick looked down at {a-Spades}{k-Spades} in the big blind and four-bet to 105,000. Kenney quickly folded but Peters made the call.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Peters checked to Chidwick who continued for 60,000. Peters stuck around to see the {4-Clubs} on the turn and both players checked. The {9-Spades} completed the board and Peters led out for 220,000. Chidwick slid the best hand into the muck and Peters recovered his lost chips.
