Hands #20-26: Smith Runs a Nice Bluff

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Hand #20: Stephen Chidwick opened for 18,000 in middle position with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Koray Aldemir defended big blind with {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Aldemir checked the {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop and Chidwick checked back. The {5-Spades} hit on the turn and Aldemir bet 16,000. Chidwick peeled and the {j-Hearts} missed him. Aldemir bet 25,000 and took the pot without showdown.

Hand #21: Chidwick opened again for 18,000 with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} this time. Bryn Kenney mucked {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} behind him and nobody else contested the pot.

Hand #22: Koray Aldemir opened for 17,000 on the button with {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Dan Smith held {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} in the big blind and defended.

After two checks, on the turn, Smith slid in 30,000 and Aldemir mucked with {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} on the felt.

Hand #23: Action folded to Smith in the small blind and he completed with {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Chidwick checked his option with {a-Spades}{2-Spades}.

The {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop prompted Smith to bet 8,000. Chidwick stuck around for the {8-Spades} turn. Smith slowed down with a check, Chidwick checked back, and the {7-Hearts} made it four to a straight. Smith took the opportunity to bet 40,000 and Chidwick released.

Hand #24: Christoph Vogelsang raised to 18,000 with {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} in the cutoff and got no action.

Hand #25: David Peters made it 30,000 to go in the small blind with {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Bryn Kenney defended with {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

Peters continuation-bet for 35,000 on the {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and Kenney peeled to the {k-Diamonds}. Peters fired again for 60,000 and Kenney released.

Hand #26: Chidwick raised to 18,000 in the cutoff with {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Kenney three-bet shoved for 282,000 in the small blind holding {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Chidwick quickly mucked his cards and Kenney was awarded the pot.
