Event #2 took place on Saturday, and Brandon Adams defeated the 50-player field to take home the $400,000 first prize. Sunday saw the game change to Pot-Limit Omaha, and it would be Keith Lehr defeating the 37-player field to capture the $333,000 first prize.

Monday saw the game switch again with Event #4: $10,000 Short Deck Poker taking center stage and it would be Isaac Haxton capturing the $176,000 first prize after he defeated the 55-player field. Tuesday saw 66 players take a seat in the Event #5: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em, and it would Ali Imsirovic capturing the $462,000 first prize. The penultimate event on the schedule would see the buy-in kicked up to $50,000 and 47 players would take a seat in the event. Daniel Negreanu, Keith Lehr, Nick Schulman, and Rainer Kempe all exited before the final table, while it would Elio Fox who would bubble to Imsirovic. Down to seven, play circled for a little before Bryn Kenney would bubble the final table when he was all in preflop and flopped two pair, but got outdrawn by a four-card flush. Imsirovic is the overwhelming chip leader and chasing his second Poker Masters title, while Justin Bonomo, Jake Schindler, and Koray Aldemir are clustered together with stacks just shy of the average. Seth Davies and Sam Soverel are the two short stacks with 18 and 17 big blinds respectively, but all will be fighting for the $799,000 first prize. Day 2 final table action will be live streamed on PokerGO, while updates will be provided right here on PokerNews once play begins at 12 p.m. (PDT).

Haxton: "That Was My River"

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Jason Koon opened the cutoff to 2,500 and Nick Petrangelo called on the button, as did Isaac Haxton in the big blind.

The flop landed {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{A-Spades} and Haxton and Koon checked to Petrangelo who bet 2,500. Haxton called, and Koon folded, as both players then checked the {K-Clubs} on the turn.

The river fell the {6-Spades}, and Haxton led out for 21,000 and Petrangelo used his full extension of time before calling.

"That was my river," announced Haxton as he tabled his {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Petrangelo mucked, and Haxton collected the pot with his rivered full house.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Brian Rast opened the button to 3,000 and Justin Bonomo three-bet the small blind to 13,000.

Rast called, and on the {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop, Bonomo continued for 20,000 and Rast called.

The turn fell the {A-Hearts}, and Bonomo announced he was all in for 61,500, and Rast snap-called.

Bonomo: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Rast: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Bonomo was at-risk holding a flush draw against Rast's top pair and gutshot.

Fortunately for the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl Champion, the river landed the {4-Hearts}, and Bonomo scooped a double back to being just shy of the starting stack.

Dan Smith

From under the gun, Dan Smith raised to 3,5000 and Seth Davies called on the button as Brian Rast called in the small blind.

The flop landed {A-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Rast and Smith checked to Davies who bet 8,500. Rast called, and Smith check-raised to 30,000.

Davies called, but Rast folded, and the turn landed the {4-Clubs}. Smith bet 27,000, and Davies called as the {J-Spades} completed the board on the river.

With only the $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event remaining on the schedule, there are only five players still in contention for the Purple Jacket. Ali Imsirovic has made himself the front runner after back-to-back wins in Event #5 and Event #6. Brandon Adams is still in second place after his hot start to the series and Isaac Haxton rounds out the top three. Jake Schindler and Ben Yu are the only other two players that can catch Imsirovic so look for them to take part in the Main Event.
