Queens for Baier to Retake Chip Lead

Jaxon • Level 24: 25,000-50,000, 50,000 ante
Alexander Baier

Alexander Baier opened for 100,000 from the button with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} before Tim Van Loo defended his big blind with {j-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Van Loo check-called a bet of 150,000 by Baier after he improved to two pair on the {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop. The {10-Spades} turn put Baier back in front and both players checked.

Van Loo bet 125,000 and Baier won the pot to regain the chip lead after he called.
