Graeme 'Kiwi G' Putt Eliminated

Michael Marcos moved all in for 8,000 from the button and Graeme Putt called off his remaining 5,500 from the big blind. Marcos turned over {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and was in bad shape against Putt's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, with Putt maintaining his lead, but Marcos picked up a gutshot straight draw. The turn was the {K-Diamonds}, but the river was the {5-Hearts}, making Marcos' straight and eliminating Putt from the tournament.

Caleb Osterman Takes a Hit

Caleb Osterman just fell victim to one of the worst cold-decks in poker-- set over set. In a 20,000 pot with the board reading T-7-4-7-3, both Osterman and his opponent flopped sets and turned full houses, Osterman holding pocket fours and his opponent pocket tens. He's down to about 5,000 in chips.

Linda Bennett Wins 45K Pot

In one of the biggest pots of the tournament (so far), Linda Bennett took over the chiplead after she dragged a pot worth over 45,000. All the money went in pre-flop.

Linda Bennett: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
James McMahon: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Unknown Player: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The flop was {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and the river was the {7-Hearts}. Linda Bennett busted both players and increased her stack to over 45,000.

Paul Gianfriddo Up to 37K

All the money went in a flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, with Paul Gianfriddo holding top two pair with {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} and his opponent, Rick Plochino drawing only to running cards with {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The turn was one of those runners-- the {7-Spades}-- but the river was the {5-Clubs}. Gianfriddo increased his stack to 37,000-- a far cry from the 1,025 he had in his stack at the first break. Nice comeback!

Antonio Casale = 42K

Another three-way all in where all the money went into the pot pre-flop.

Player 1: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Player 2: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Antonio Casale: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Player 1 took the lead with a set of Queens. Player 2 picked up a nut flush draw along with a gutshot Broadway straight draw. Casale had and open-ended straight draw. The turn was the {7-Spades} and the river was the {9-Diamonds}. Antonio Casale rivered a King-high straight to drag the pot. He busted both players as he increased his stack to 42,000.
