Angelo Prifti has landed another big score this week after a third place finish in the $550 buy in Bounty Shootout.
This time Prifti will have to settle for an eighth place finish. Preflop, Carl Booth opened to 150,000 from early position and Prifti moved all in from the small blind for 873,000.
Sam Khouiss asked for a count on Prifti before opting to fold and then action was back on Booth.
Booth went into the tank for several minutes. Eventually he stood up, flipped a coin and said, "I call".
Prifti tabled and would be up against Booth's .
The flop betrayed Prifti. He was unable to catch up to Booth through the turn and river, so has been eliminated from the tournament.
Booth moves over 2,600,000 and is leading the tournament.
Michel Bouskila has found a much needed double up through Joe Cabret. In a preflop battle of the blinds Bouskila shoved for 312,000 and Cabret called from the big blind with .
Bouskila’s would need to hit to keep him alive, and it caught a nice big chunk of the flop. The turn and river completed the board, doubling Bouskila through.
Bouskila now has 650,000 chips; Cabret drops to about 800,000.
