Day 1d Started
The fourth and final opening flight of the PokerNews Cup Main Event is scheduled to begin here at King's Casino in about 30 minutes. While players start with the same 30,000 chip stack, play will be much faster with just 15 minute blind levels.
The final opening flight will be taking place in the same room as Day 1C, and we are anticipating that with the help of this flight that the total combined field size could grow to over 800 entrants.
The turbo charged Day 1D just kicked off with 36 entrants, and the number is quickly growing as just a few minutes in we are at 51 entrants in the event.
There are some familiar faces already entered in Day 1D which attracted so far 67 entrants. Wansa Trensch is one of the players seated for the final opening day flight. She is one of the players that has entered all four opening flights and she is hoping this is the one she can build a good stack in for Day 2.

Czech Republic's Martin Kabrhel just joined the field in Day 1D. He has almost $1.9 million in live cashes which puts him second on the all time list for players in his country.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Kabrhel scored huge when he took second place in the €25,000 buy-in WSOP Circuit King's Casino Super High Roller for €153,615. He padded his total a little more with a 71st place finish in that series' Main Event that banked him €2,769.
If Kabrhel makes it into Day 2, we expect him to be a force to be reckoned with.

After a horrible bad beat in the Day 1c, Germany’s Huseyin Arkun is alive and kicking in the Day 1c.
“I can’t believe it. I shoved with , and I got called by an opponent who had nothing. But then, of course, he found a runner-runner flush at the river and sent me to the rails. Seriously, I get Aces once a year and I lose the hand like that. It’s just bad.”
Arkun, who runs one of the many clubs that surround the King’s Casino, is the definition of “a regular” here in Rozvadov.
With live tournament earnings for $122,407, Arkun got 29 of his 30 cashes here at the King’s Casino. His best result so far came only a few weeks ago, when he came third in the World Series if Poker Circuit Event #2 for $24,607.

If you are looking for a massage, we are told by many poker players that the best place to go is right next door to Chikkita. The owner of the massage establishment also refers to himself as Chikkita, and has re-entered the PokerNews Cup Main Event Day 1D hoping to run up a good stack for Day 2.
