England's Ladies Grab a Multi-Way Pot

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

David Shields limped under the gun. Kyna England raised to 800 from early position. The player on her direct left called, as well as the small and big blinds, and Shields came along as well.

Five players saw the flop come {6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades}. England bet 4,000 and everyone folded except Shields, who called. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} to put three sevens on board. England bet 6,700 after a check. Shields thought for a long time before he tossed in 25,000 to force England all in, who called.

Shields had the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} while England had him drawing dead with the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The {k-Hearts} filled out the board.

The big stack at the table, John Scott, claimed to have folded {8-}{7-} on the button as he lamented what would likely have been carnage as he would have had quads in the multi-way pot.
