Kanit Down But Then Doubles

Level 23 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit was left reeling after losing one hand only to win the one he needed to most to double right back to almost level in this epic heads-up duel.

First, Kanit raised to 500,000 pre-flop and got a call from Kenney. The flop came {4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} and a bet of 400,000 from Kanit proved expensive to him as Kenney raised all-in and took it down.

Kanit was dwindling, down to 1.9m, then after two Kenney shoves, as little as 1.5m. But a crucial double-up came when Kenney shoved with {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Kanit called it off with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. The flop of {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} kept Kanit ahead and he stayed there through the {Q-Clubs} turn and {5-Clubs} river.

The new chip counts tell you how close it really is!
