Oliver Weis Eliminated in 10th Place (€75,100)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Oliver Weis
Oliver Weis

Ronny Kaiser opened the cutoff for 105,000 and big blind Oliver Weis 3-bet to 800,000 with about 100,000 behind. Kaiser shoved all in and Weis called after checking out the other table first.

Oliver Weis: {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Ronny Kaiser: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The flop came {3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{J-Spades}, improving both their hands.

Kaiser let out a sigh but the {10-Clubs} on the turn paired the board and Weis was drawing dead. The {5-Spades} on the river was there just for good measures.

Down to 9 players now, all guaranteed €91,300.

Kaiser Takes from Durnegger

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Markus Durnegger bet the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop for 70,000 from the small blind and Ronny Kaiser called in the big blind. On the {8-Clubs} turn, Durnegger let the shot clock run down to three seconds before announcing a bet of 150,000, Kaiser called.

The {Q-Spades} fell on the river and Durnegger waited as long before betting 175,000. Kaiser nodded and called, which saw Durnegger roll over {10-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a busted gutshot. Kaiser had the {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and that won the pot.

Georgios Sotiropoulos Doubles

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Luis Rodriguez Cruz opened the cutoff for 110,000 and small blind Georgios Sotiropoulos 3-bet to 395,000. The big blind folded and Rodriguez Cruz shoved. Sotiropoulos beat him in the pot.

Georgios Sotiropoulos: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Luis Rodriguez Cruz: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop came {9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, making Rodriguez Cruz an open ended. The {7-Hearts} on the turn and {10-Clubs} on the river weren't cards he was looking for, though, and he parted ways with 2,050,000 of his chips.

Patel Doubles Through Zhou

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Quan Zhou limped in from the small blind and Emil Patel raised to 175,000 in the big blind. Zhou clicked back to 650,000 and Patel moved all in. Zhou asked for a count and the shove for 1,610,000 was called by the Chinese.

Emil Patel: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Quan Zhou: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop gave Patel top pair and Zhou picked up a gutshot, which prompted him to ask for a queen in table chat while standing up from his chair. However, both the {3-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river were blanks and Zhou had to forfeit more than half of his stack.

Durnegger and Michalak Chip Up

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Benjamin Pollak raised to 120,000 and Markus Durnegger let his shot clock run down to five seconds before announcing a reraise to 380,000. Back on Pollak he asked Durnegger what stack he started the hand with and called. Durnegger bet the {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop for 200,000 and Pollak called.

The {J-Clubs} fell on the turn and Durnegger's bet of 800,000 won the pot uncontested.

Over on table one, Jakub Michalak raised to 110,000 from under the gun and Luis Rodriguez Cruz called in the big blind. On the {J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Rodriguez checked and called a bet worth 100,000 before the {2-Clubs} on the turn brought another check, Michalak's bet of 235,000 and a call by the Spaniard.

The {Q-Hearts} river completed the board and Rodriguez checked for a third time. Michalak emptied the clip with a bet of 455,000 to force a fold from Rodriguez.

Patel Check-Calls

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Luis Rodriguez Cruz opened under the gun for 110,000 and Georgios Sotiropoulos (button) and Emil Patel (big blind) called. Patel checked to the initial raiser on {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and saw his neighbor bet 155,000. Sotiropoulos folded, Patel called.

Patel check-called another 250,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn before they both checked the {4-Diamonds} river. Patel tabled {7-Spades}{9-Spades} and Rodriguez Cruz mucked.

Patel asked if he didn't want to fire one more time.

"Why? Would you fold?" Rodriguez Cruz asked.

"Maybe," Patel answered with a big smile.
