Charlie Carrel and Jean-Noel Thorel Eliminated

Stefan Schillhabel raised to 17,000 and Stephen Chidwick called to his left. Charlie Carrel three-bet to 55,000 from the big blind, Schillhabel folded, and Chidwick called.

The flop was {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Carrel continued with 35,000, which Chidwick called. On the {9-Spades} turn, Carrel checked, Chidwick bet 25,000, and Carrel called.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Carrel check-called all in for 101,000. Chidwick showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Carrel flung {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} in the muck.

At another table, Jean-Noel Thorel got his last chips in with {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} against Luc Greenwood's {A-Spades}{3-Spades} on an {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Thorel was also gone.

Mateos Doubles; Greenwood Doesn't

Adrian Mateos

Ben Tollerene called the shove of Adrian Mateos for 74,000 and had the Spaniard at risk with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Mateos flipped over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and had to endure a sweat with the board running out {Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

Shortly after, Sam Greenwood three-bet shoved from the small blind and initial raiser Hakim Zoufri called from the button.

Sam Greenwood: {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Hakim Zoufri: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop left Greenwood in desperate shape and he was eliminated when the {9-Clubs} appeared on the turn. A meaningless {7-Diamonds} river completed the board and the remaining 16 players will now redraw to the last two tables.
