Chen Sends Liang Out
Canlin Chen opened to 38,000 from under-the-gun and action folded around to Yu Liang in the big blind. Liang seemed eager to play and made the call to take the action heads-up to the ![]()
![]()
flop.
Liang checked it over to Chen, who fired out an enticing 16,000 min-bet, which Liang felt obliged to call and it was off to the
turn, which brought another check from Liang and another bet from Che, this one a slightly larger 50,000.
This sent Liang into tank mode for a while but he does eventually chose to call, leaving himself 86,000 behind. This found its way into the middle when the
hit the river and Chen snap called.
Liang, holding ![]()
had just rivered two pairs, but this was still not enough to beat Chen’s flopped set of sevens when he turned over ![]()
to take the pot and bring Liang’s tournament to an abrupt end.
