Liang and Holz Eliminated

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

With around 70,000 in the middle and the board reading {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Dan Smith checked out of the big blind and Fedor Holz moved all in from the cutoff for 41,800. Smith gave it some time and asked for the count, then eventually called for half of his remaining stack with just a few seconds left on his shot clock. Holz turned over {Q-Spades}{5-Spades} and Smith had that beat with {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

At the same time, Yu Liang and Manig Loeser clashed with the latter being the one at risk for 83,300 with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Liang was well ahead with pocket sixes, but the board came {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts} to give Loeser a set.

Down to 15,100, Liang shoved one hand later from the cutoff and Loeser called on the button. When the cards were tabled, Liang cracked up while spotting that Loeser had the exact same cards again with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Liang had a flip with {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, but failed to get there on the board {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Sylvain Loosli has been eliminated recently as well.
