Overbet Sends Hunichen Tanking

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Big blind Sam Greenwood mashed in a monstrous bet on the end in a pot against Chris Hunichen, piling in 150,000, which looked to be over double the size of the pot. The board had run out {q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, and Hunichen went deep into the tank in the cutoff.

"Why so much?" he asked.

Greenwood remained silent — it was unclear if he even heard Hunichen as he had headphones on.

"All right," Hunichen finally said a few minutes later, sliding his cards to the muck. "Show one."

Greenwood moved to muck and the dealer began sweeping in his cards, but they were still a bit visible on the edge of the deck. Someone urged Greenwood to show one, and he reached into the deck and grabbed the {q-Spades} as the dealer crunched the cards together. It was unclear if that was even Greenwood's card, and the other players at the table joked that he should get a penalty.
