Serda's Aggression Backfires

Patrick Serda's been steadily climbing with an aggressive preflop approach that's seen him put in a number of three-bets and four-bets. In one recent pot, it finally cost him as he bet away a large chunk of his stack.
A player in middle position had put 4,100 in, and Serda made it 10,800 from the small blind. His opponent called, and the two saw a 
flop. Serda bet 7,700 but snap-folded when his opponent dropped in about 19,000.
