"Are You Tilted at Me?"

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After a hijack open to 3,200 at the previous level, Ari Engel made it a three-bet to 8,300 to go in the next seat. Big blind Eduards Kudrjavcevs moved in for 57,300, and the opener mucked.

"Are you just tilted at me?" Engel asked. "I know you're tilted at me... that's not even the question."

"King-jack, huh?" Engel continued, moments later.

Finally, he mucked, and Kudrjavcevs did not show.

Hertsel Levi Sakhai Doubles Through Steve O'Dwyer

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On a board reading {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, with about 28,000 in the pot already, Hertsel Levi Sakhai checked from the big blind.

The player in the cutoff bet 7,000 and Steve O'Dwyer called on the button.

Sakhai check-raised all in for his last 29,8000. The cutoff thought for about a minute and folded.

O'Dwyer tried to get an answer out of him by asking questions. Eventually, he called.

Sakhai: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
O'Dwyer: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Sakhai tabled flush and straight draws, while O'Dwyer held second pair.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Sakhai cheered with a clap and a fist pump after hitting his flush.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and Sakhia got his double up.

Marcelo Filartiga Villalba Doubles Through Jiachen Gong

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After a player raised to 3,200, Jiachen Gong three-bet to 9,200 from middle position. Paraguay's Marcelo Filartiga Villalba then four-bet to 18,000 from the hijack, the original raiser folded, and Gong made the call.

Gong: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Villalba: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

It was a classic flip, and Villalba was looking to hold to stay alive. That's just what he did too as the board ran out a safe {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Dermot Blain Doubles Through Kenneth Smaron

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A short-stacked Dermot Blain moved all in for 20,300 from middle position and Kenneth Smaron called two spots over in the hijack. The rest of the players folded and the cards were turned on their backs.

Smaron: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Blain: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Blain's queen kicker had him well out in front, and that's right where he stayed as the board ran out a clean {3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Wheeler Busts Another

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

The spot on Jason Wheeler's right already claimed Bryn Kenney, and another player just busted out of that seat, this time at the hands of Wheeler himself. Wheeler bet 13,000 on a {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop, and his opponent check-shoved for about 30,000. Wheeler quickly called with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and was facing overs and a higher flush draw: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. The board ran out {6-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Wheeler collected the pot.

Kaverman Can't Beat Gagnon

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Samuel Gagnon, Byron Kaverman's neighbor who got the best of him in a recent hand with trip queens, just took another pot off the American star.

This time, a player on the button had raised to 3,500, and Kaverman put in a three-bet to 11,000. Gagnon cold four-bet to 21,500 in the big blind, and Kaverman called after the third player mucked. The flop came {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, and Kaverman checked and quickly folded to a continuation-bet of 15,000.

Jason Koon Bombs the River

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

With about 9,000 in the middle, on a board reading {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Jason Koon checked his option from the big blind, as did the player under the gun. His opponent on the button bet 2,500 and Koon called. Theunder-the-gun player folded.

The river was the {4-Clubs}. Koon wasted no time and fired out a bet of 16,400.

The button thought about it and looked as though he was about to fold. He then grabbed some chips and looked as though he was about to call. It was clear he was going back and forth with his decision, and eventually open-folded {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

As Koon was scooping the pot, Koon rapped the table and said, "Nice fold".

Koon has been steadily chipping up after beginning the day with 175,500.
