Big Slick Does the Trick for Michael Lech

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Vincent Allevato raised to 27,000 from the cutoff and Michael Lech defended from the big blind. The latter then check-called bets of 31,000 and 53,000 on the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and {4-Spades} respectively before both players checked the {J-Hearts} river.

Allevato showed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} but it was no good as Lech's {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} had him out kicked.

Arunas Sapitavicius Sent Back to Lithuania

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Arunas Sapitavicius (L) & James Salmon (R)
Arunas Sapitavicius (L) & James Salmon (R)

Igor Yaroshevskyy opened for 25,000 from the button and was met by an all-in three-bet to 175,000 from Arunas Sapitavicius in the small blind. James Salmon then called from the big and Yaroshevskyy got out of the way.

Sapitavicius: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Salmon: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Sapitavicius' best chance at surviving was to catch a ten, but it wasn't in the cards as the board ran out a useless {7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to send him out the door in 17th place for $16,080.

There will now be a short break while the final 16 players redraw down to two tables. When they return, the plan is to play out the remainder of Level 20 before bagging and tagging on Day 4.

Gill Cuts Down de Benedictis

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Harpreet Gill opened to 40,000 under the gun, and Fabrice de Benedictis shoved in the next seat for about 230,000. Gill called immediately when it folded back to him as he had {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. De Benedictis needed help with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} but found none on the {2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts} runout.

Igor Yaroshevskyy Doubles Through Kenneth Smaraon

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Igor Yaroshevskyy raised to 25,000 under the gun and Kenny Smaron defended his big blind to see a {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop.

Smaron checked, Yaroshevskyy continued for 27,000, and Smaron check-raised all in. Yaroshevskyy snap-called off for 171,000 total and the hands were turned up.

Yaroshevskyy: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Smaron: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Yaroshevskyy's kicker had him out in front and he shipped the double after the {3-Spades} appeared on the turn followed by the {2-Spades} on the river.
