The four-card championship will crown a winner today.

PokerStars Championship presented by Monte-Carlo Casino® €10,300 PLO High Roller has seen the field whittled from 60 down to just 11. The money has not yet been reached, but the bubble is sure to burst early here on Day 2 as only eight players will be paid.

Sampo Ryynanen is player with the least to worry about as far as cashing goes as he has the chip lead with 590,000 as blinds prepare to head to 3,000/6,000. Imad Derwiche (512,000) and Sylvain Loosli (502,000) round out the top three. The players in most danger are Ami Barer (73,000) and George Wolff (78,000).

Here's a look at the current table draw that players will be seated in:

Three players saw a {j-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop for what looked to be a three-bet, and Minh Phuc Nguyen shoved all in for 198,000. Anthony Zinno called on the button for 86,000, and Imad Derwiche thought a bit before mucking.

Nguyen: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Zinno: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}

"Good luck, brother," Zinno said.

The turn brought a {9-Clubs}, filling Zinno's flush draw. The river, however, was a {9-Hearts}, and Zinno rapped the table in submission.

Capitan Sliding Early

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Bogdan Capitan hasn't been able to gain much traction early, and he just dropped a pot to Imad Derwiche. With the board reading {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} on the turn, Capitan called a bet of 30,000. Both players checked the {5-Diamonds}, and Derwiche showed {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for jacks full. Capitan shook his head and mucked.

Watson Doesn't Back Down

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Mike Watson doesn't seem too afraid to bubble.

He opened cutoff to 15,000 and called a three-bet to what looked like 54,000 from Sampo Ryynanen, who had the button. The flop came {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Both players checked. On the {q-Hearts} turn, Watson slid in a tower of chips and got a quick fold.

Capitan Doubles Through Derwiche

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Bogdan Capitan three-bet to 74,000 in the small blind after Imad Derwiche opened cutoff to 21,000. Derwiche slid in calling chips, and {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flopped. Capitan put in his last 24,000 and Derwiche called with a sigh.

Capitan: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Derwiche: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

It wasn't the flop Capitan wanted, but his kings were still good for the moment. The turn was a {2-Hearts} and the river a {9-Diamonds}, and Capitan nodded in approval after Derwiche missed his numerous outs.

Down to Nine

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Bogdan Capitan
Bogdan Capitan

Bogdan Capitan and Ami Barer got all in with the latter at risk for 147,000 on a {9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop.

Capitan: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Barer: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Barer had a pile of outs with two draws and a pair, and while the turn ({3-Clubs}) missed him, the {a-Spades} river did not.

Capitan was left with 21,000. He got that in next hand with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts} against the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} of Minh Phuc Nguyen, who made a flush on the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts} runout.

At the other table, short stack George Wolff appears to have found a double, and the players are now redrawing for the unofficial final table.
