2021 Michigan Spring Championship of Online Poker

Yesterday saw 871 runners hit the virtual felt to take their shot at the inaugural MISCOOP Main Event title but today, only thirty-six hopefuls have the chance to call themselves Champion.

With 36 players returning to the virtual felt at 5 p.m. EST for Day 2 of the $200K GTD Main Event, they will have their eyes set on the top prize of $41,074.16, but all have at least $1,020.51 locked-up.

"Orlimar17" will enter play with the rest of the field looking up at their stack of 9,490,686. "Kell_19red" comes into the day next in chips (8,076,456) and has a comfortable lead over "VT3133" (5,470,291) who sits in third. Andrew "autokorekt" Korby is the last known name in the field (4,648,119) with "BeetlejuiceHere" (4,339,061) also holding a top stack over four-million.

"NiceSoftButter" First to Fall

Level 28 (40,000/80,000 ante 12,500)

"Stozypokes" opened for 160,000 from the hijack and then called the 887,991 three-bet jam "NiceSoftButter" made from the cutoff.

"Stozypokes": {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
"NiceSoftButter": {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

"NiceSoftButter" was behind needing help and found a lady on the {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop. Unfortunately for them, neither the {9-Spades} turn nor the {2-Hearts} river were any help and they were eliminated in 36th place for $1,020.51.

"kris2k1025" Can't Win a Flip

Level 28 (40,000/80,000 ante 12,500)

"aardvark555" raised to 176,000 from middle position and was called by "YoRayman" from the cutoff before "kris2k1025" three-bet all in for 1,182,178 on the button.

Only "aardvark555" called and both player's cards were revealed.

"kris2k1025": {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
"aardvark555": {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

"kris2k1025" was ahead with their made hand until the [6gks3c] flop appeared.

The {q-Diamonds} turn left "kris2k1025" with two outs but the {6-Spades} river wasn't one of them and their Main Event ended in 32nd place for $1,247.69.

"piphere" Dropped by "C0LD_W0RLD"

Level 29 (50,000/100,000 ante 15,000)

"C0LD_W0RLD" raised to 220,000 from the hijack and action folded to "piphere" who was all in from the big blind.

"piphere": {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
"C0LD_W0RLD": {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

"piphere" was behind holding live cards and the {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop gave them more outs with a gut shot straight draw. Unfortuntley, the {a-Diamonds} turn and {a-Spades} river gave "C0LD_W0RLD" a full house, ending their Main Event in 28th place for $1,247.69.

"Rowdywolf56" Gets Rivered

Level 30 (60,000/120,000 ante 17,500

"fuenteslogan" opened for 240,000 on the button and then called the 804,264 three-bet jam "Rowdywolf56" from the small blind.

"fuenteslogan": {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
"Rowdywolf56": {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

"Rowdywolf56" had "fuenteslogan" dominated and nothing changed after the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop.

The {k-Clubs} turn paired both players and "Rowdywolf56" was looking good to score a double until the {j-Diamonds} fell on the river giving "fuenteslogan" two-pair, ending "Rowdywolf56" Main Event in 21st place for $1,525.42.
