We have exciting news for poker fans around the world!

Given it's all the virtual series, we thought players and fans should have an interactive platform in which to engage with one another, as well as us here at PokerNews. That's why we've created a PokerNews Discord server and are inviting you to join our new community.

In Level 24 with blinds of 6,000/12,000, action folded around to the cutoff where "zozopots" raised to 24,000. "Neckerson" called on the button, as did "grandma1967" in the big blind and the three saw a flop of .

Two checks put action onto "Neckerson", who bet 39,000 and was check-raised to the pot-sized amount of 195,000 "grandma1967". "zozopots" folded and "Neckerson" re-jammed for 328,424 effective, receiving a call from "grandma1967" to get a shot at knocking them out of the tournametn.

"Neckerson's bottwom two pair and open-ended straight draw found itself up against top set. The turn connected with "grandma1967's" other pair, and the river wound up giving them quads en route to an easy double. With the pot, "grandma1967" has also overtaken the chip lead with six still remaining in contention.

Adam "Red4novak" Novak, 39, hails from Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan where he's lived most of his life. He's been married for nine years and has three daughters with his wife — Hazel (6), Ruby (3), and Marigold (10 months).

"I’m a high school Social Studies teacher at AGBU Manoogian High School, where I am also the school’s Athletic Director and have coached girl’s volleyball, cross country, and girl's and boy's basketball," he told PokerNews.

Novak first learned to play poker approximately 20 years ago thanks to his friend Russ Woodruff, who taught him using pennies.

"I almost immediately started playing on PokerStars around 18 or 19 years old in my parent’s house where I turned $20 into $50," he explained. "I was hooked ever since absorbing it online, on TV, and through books like Gus Hansen’s Every Hand Revealed."

Prior to 2011, Noval was mainly a Sit n’ Go grinder grinding approximately 20 SnG tables at a time. Those ranged from $10 to $50 buy-ins and he was simultaneously trying to maximize profit while amassing Frequent Player Points towards Supernova Elite status.

"I also played all types of tournaments starting from the suggestion of a friend starting around age 23," he said. "There have been several nice scores with my best being due to my wife who suggested I play it despite only having around 10 minutes left of late registration. I took third in a $50 tourney with over 7k participants for approximately $21,000."

In regards to legal and regulated online poker coming to Michigan, Novak was among the masses to welcome it with open arms.

"I’m very excited about Michigan’s return to online poker and look forward to getting back on the virtual felt," Novak concluded.

In Level 22 with blinds of 4,000/8,000, "RaceC19" found themselves down to their last 21,902 after doubling Andrew "autokorekt" Korby a few hands earlier. They open-limped in the cutoff and "grandma1967" raised to 24,000 on the button. "beardedbadger" was in the small blind and three-bet to 88,000, folding everybody else out of the hand but "RaceC19" who called off their remaining chips.

The closest "RaceC19" got on the runout was finding backdoor flush and Broadway outs on the turn, but neither filled and they were eliminated in 11th as a result.

In Level 21 with blinds of 3,500/7,000, "beardedbadger" raised to 14,000 under the gun and "TheColonelAngus" three-bet to 52,500 on the button, leaving just 5,148 behind. Both blinds folded and "beardedbager" clicked the raise button to put "TheColonelAngus" all in. A few seconds later, a call was made.

The flop resulted in "TheColonelAngus" going from a large favorite to a massive underdog. Neither the case ace nor a ten would fall as the turn and river completed the runout, and they were eliminated in 12th place as a result. Their elimination rounds out the first level of payouts at $505, and all 11 who remain have now locked up $656 at minimum.

In Level 21 with blinds of 3,500/7,000, "Neckerson" opened the action with a raise to 14,000 in the hijack and "sexycaitlyn" three-bet to 29,999 in the cutoff. "C0LD_W0RLD" cold four-bet jammed for 105,888 and "sexycaitlyn" found themselves as the only caller.

The flop gave "C0LD_W0RLD" top set but "sexycaitlyn" had three outs to a gutshot. The turn added nine more flush outs, but they all missed as the river completed the runout to give "C0LD_W0RLD" quads and score them the double.
