Turned Set of Kings Cracks Aces

Blinds 125-250

In one of the early pots of the day, "Easynow58" opened to 750 and was called by Mike Parrott in the cutoff. "Stayathomedabb" raised to 2,250, "Mayesman1" called in the big blind, and the original raiser folded as Parrott called.

The three players saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} and "Stayathomedabb" led for 3,500 and only "Mayesman1" continued. The turn {k-Diamonds} saw "Stayathomedabb" go all in and "Mayesman1" called for his remaining 13,195 chips.

"Stayathomedabb": {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
"Mayesman1": {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Both players may have thought they had the best hand the whole way but it was "Stayathomedabb" who jumped ahead with a set of kings. The river {q-Spades} sent him the chips and cracked the rockets and downed the bullet of "Mayesman1".
