"TWOsl0w4u" Takes Down Event #34: $250 PLO 6-Max High Roller

MICOOP Event #34: $250 PLO 6-Max High Roller – Championship Trophy Event concluded on Saturday, with "TWOsl0w4u" taking down the trophy and $6,332 after defeating "Meatballs9000" heads-up.

The event drew a total of 124 entries, generating a $28,892 prize pool, which nearly doubled the $15k guarantee.

The brisk blind levels led to the tournament lasting a mere six hours, with the money bubble bursting after "zscoro" got all in with a combo draw and whiffed against a flopped straight of "jjjj7777505".

It didn't take long from there to reach the final table after a slew of eliminations, including Paul "grandma1967" Mattioda, who was eliminated in 11th place after losing most of his chips to "TheColonelAngus".

"TheColonelAngus" held a commanding chip lead going into the final table and maintained it while the shorter stacks busted until a massive cooler saw "TheColonelAngus" hand over the majority of their chips to "TWOsl0w4u".

"TWOsl0w4u" finished the job and busted "TheColonelAngus" after both players turned a straight. Unfortunately for "TheColonelAngus", "TWOsl0w4u" held the higher straight.

Heads-up play began with "TWOsl0w4u" holding a 4:1 chip lead over "Meatballs9000".

"Meatballs9000", who got third place in Event #23 just a few days ago, managed to reduce the gap between themselves and "TWOsl0w4u" after winning a series of small pots. However, "Meatballs9000" got into a bit of a cooler after both players flopped top two-pair with a flush draw — with "TWOsl0w4u" freerolling with a higher flush draw. The flush came in on the turn after both players got all-in on the flop, thus ending the tournament.
