It's Main Event Day in the 2020 NJCOOP!
Welcome back to the continuing coverage of the 2020 NJCOOP here on Pokernews.com! Today is the biggest day of the series, as the $125,000 Guaranteed Main Event will be starting up shortly. This event has a buy-in of $300, and this is a two day event. Play will wrap up today after seven and a half hours of play, and registration will be closing shortly before that, around 10:40 PM ET.

The Main event today is accompanied by a smaller $50 No-Limit Hold'em Mini Main Event, with a $25,000 guarantee.
Players who enjoy non-hold'em formats will also have plenty to choose from. There are several pot-limit Omaha events, including a $500 six-max high roller. There's even $100 Pot-Limit Badugi, $100 H.O.R.S.E. and $100 5-Card PLO.
PokerStars NJ is also committed to giving frustrated players extra value via freeroll tickets. Those who get eliminated shy of the money will be given tickets into events awarding more NJCOOP seats.
Cards in the Air: $125,000 Guaranteed Main Event
It's finally time to start the 2020 NJCOOP Main Event! This $300 buy-in two day tournament will have a prizepool of at least $125,000, meaning that first place will be taking home over $20,000 at least. We will be keeping tabs on all of the big names in play today, specifically Daniel "loxonbagel" Buzgon, who has already won three NJCOOP titles. This included the $200 8-game Event just a few days ago.
Play will continue tonight until 12:30 AM ET, with Day 2 picking up tomorrow night at 7 PM ET. Pokernews.com will be here from te first hand to the last to bring you all o the coverage, so don't go anywhere.
