Another slate of events is on the calendar Wednesday night for the 2021 PokerStars New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker (NJSCOOP), and the largest of them all is Event #16-H: $200 NLHE [7-Max, Exit 7], $12.5K Gtd.
Registration is open for all located inside New Jersey state lines with play set to begin at 8 p.m. ET. This event features starting stacks of 25,000 with blinds beginning at 80/160 and a 20-ante and levels increasing every 10 minutes for the duration of the one-night event. Late registration will remain open for two hours and 40 minutes, closing at 10:40 p.m. ET.
Players are allowed up to five re-entries should they wish to utilize them, meaning a total of six bullets may be fired into the event. As per the 7-Max format, play will be seven handed all tournament long except for an eight-handed final table in lieu of two four-handed tables for the final table bubble.

More than dozen events have already been played to their completion at three buy-in levels (low, medium, and high). In total, 55 events will be run at each buy-in level between May 8-24 with $1.2 million in guarantees spread across those events. The following marquee events will feature PokerNews live reporting coverage, culminating with the $300 buy-in Main Event that features a $100K guarantee.

In Level 2 with blinds of 100/200 and an ante of 25, "Dkornblau" raised to 440 under the gun and was called by both "shipitshell" in the hijack and Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara, who was on the button.
Action checked to Madara on a flop of and he bet 600. "Dkornblau" folded and "shipitshell" called. The turn came and "shipitshell" check-called another 1,800 from Madara.
The river fell and "shipitshell" checked a third time. Madara fired once more for 4,380 and "shipitshell" called to take the hand to showdown.
Madara showed for the nuts and received a muck, and as a result is back to around starting stack after losing a bit to start the evening.

In Level 3 with blinds of 125/250 and an ante of 30, Daniel "loxonbagel" Buzgon opened the action with a raise to 575 in the cutoff and was called by both Mike "FortheThr1ll" Haberman on the button and "TiltedHard", who defended their big blind.
Action checked through the flop and the turn came . Both "TiltedHard" and Buzgon checked again and Haberman bet 1,000. Only Buzgon called, and both players checked the river to take the hand to showdown.
Buzgon showed for top pair and Haberman mucked, earning Buzgon the pot. However, Haberman is the one who finds himself with the early chip lead after taking nearly every chip that "vigman@135" had in their stack at the end of Level 1.

In Level 4 with blinds of 150/300 and an ante of 40, Ross "Rosseg" Gottlieb opened to 600 in the hijack and Ryan "ISlowRollYou" Hohner called, defending his big blind.
The flop came and Hohner checked to Gottlieb, who continuation-bet 625. Hohner check-raised to 2,091 and Gottlieb called.
Hohner continued for another 1,500 on the turn and Gottlieb called again, bringing the river . Hohner bet a final time for 5,877 and Gottlieb shoved all in, effectively putting Hohner to a decision for his remaining 12,000. Hohner folded.
