Madara Gets Three Streets

"FadeOrHoldz"
"FadeOrHoldz"

In Level 2 with blinds of 100/200 and an ante of 25, "Dkornblau" raised to 440 under the gun and was called by both "shipitshell" in the hijack and Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara, who was on the button.

Action checked to Madara on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and he bet 600. "Dkornblau" folded and "shipitshell" called. The turn came {q-Diamonds} and "shipitshell" check-called another 1,800 from Madara.

The river fell {a-Hearts} and "shipitshell" checked a third time. Madara fired once more for 4,380 and "shipitshell" called to take the hand to showdown.

Madara showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the nuts and received a muck, and as a result is back to around starting stack after losing a bit to start the evening.

Top Pair Good for Buzgon

Daniel Buzgon
Daniel Buzgon

In Level 3 with blinds of 125/250 and an ante of 30, Daniel "loxonbagel" Buzgon opened the action with a raise to 575 in the cutoff and was called by both Mike "FortheThr1ll" Haberman on the button and "TiltedHard", who defended their big blind.

Action checked through the flop {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} and the turn came {5-Spades}. Both "TiltedHard" and Buzgon checked again and Haberman bet 1,000. Only Buzgon called, and both players checked the river {10-Clubs} to take the hand to showdown.

Buzgon showed {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for top pair and Haberman mucked, earning Buzgon the pot. However, Haberman is the one who finds himself with the early chip lead after taking nearly every chip that "vigman@135" had in their stack at the end of Level 1.
