The PokerStars 2021 New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker (NJSCOOP) is officially underway! PokerNews coverage of the series kicks off today with event 07-M: $200 NLHE [8-Max, Jersey Special, $35K Gtd].
The tournament is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. EST with stacks of 25,000 and blinds starting at 80/160 with a 20 ante. Levels will last 12 minutes and players will go on break for 5 minutes at the top of each hour. Should a player be eliminated, up to five re-entries are available until 9:15 p.m. EST. Play will remain capped at eight-handed until the final table is reached — which will begin nine-handed.
This year's series is running from May 8 through May 24 and features a packed schedule of Hold'em and Omaha events. A guaranteed minimum of $1.2 million will be awarded throughout the series, which will be rounded off by a $300 buy-in, $100K guaranteed no-limit Hold'em main event.
