Manel Montalban raised to 250,000 in the hijack and was called by Adrian State and Christian Andronico in the blinds. State checked the K♥6♠8♥ flop over to Andronico, who led out for 325,000.

Montalban mucked his A♥Q♠ before State put in a raise to 950,000. Adronico took some time before calling. The A♦ turn saw State size down to 500,000.

Adronico took the opportunity to jam all in for 1,980,000 and saw State snap-call.

Andronico was already drawing dead against State's set. The 9♣ river was purely for ceremony as Andronico gave his former opponent a fistbump and headed to the payout desk.

Adrian State raised to 300,000 on the button with 6♣4♣. Friedrich Raez then three-bet to 950,000 in the small blind, holding K♠Q♥, while Manel Montalban four-bet his A♥Q♦ to 1,800,000 in the big blind.

State quickly folded his suited connector, but Raez stuck around and called. The flop fell 8♦2♦7♥. Montalban quickly put Raez all-in for 1,850,000, seeing Raez instantly muck his king-high.

Sterba Raises Into Aces

Adrian State was under the gun and raised to 300,000. Big blind Jakub Sterba looked down at his cards and put in a call. State continued for 250,000 on the 2♦Q♠8♥ flop, which Sterba check-raised to 800,000.

State was going nowhere with as he called to the Q♣ turn. Sterba continued firing, putting 1,200,000 in the middle. State called undetered, after which the 6♠ river was checked down.

Sterba could only table king-high with K♦10♦, while State was sitting on A♥A♣ and raked in the pot with his aces, becoming the second eight-figure stack in the tournament.
