Barnaba Perone raised to 450,000 in the hijack, holding 10♣9♣. It folded to Adrian State in the big blind, who defended A♦10♦.

State check-called Perone's bet of 500,000 on the A♥3♥K♦ board before the 4♥ turn went check-check.

The 7♥ fell on the river, which State also checked over to Perone. Perone then quickly fired 1,500,000, and State mucked his top pair after some table talk.

Perone proudly showed his bluff as he was awarded the pot, adding it to his ever-growing stack.

Gaspare Sposato raised to 400,000 in the hijack with Q♦J♦. Giorgio Soceanu called on the button with K♦7♦, and the pair went heads-up to a flop of 9♠4♣3♠, which they both checked.

The 4♦ turn is where things kicked off. Sposato bet 400,000, Soceanu raised to 900,000, and Sposato reraised to 2,000,000 after spending a time bank.

Soceanu did not stop the raising war there, however, as he had the final word with his all-in bet. Sposato quickly let go of his queen-high, leaving himself about 25 big blinds.
