Giorgio Soceanu sat in the small blind and raised to 750,000. Adrian State defended his big blinds as the nemesi went off to the 7♣3♦J♥ flop.

Soceanu tossed in a bet of 500,000, which State quickly called. The 7♥ turn was checked to State, who made a sizable bet of 2,500,000.

State then over-bet the 4♠ river for 8,500,000. Soceanu shrugged and tossed in a calling chip for State to table 8♦7♠ for trip sevens. Frustrated, Soceanu showed K♣J♠ for a no-good pair of jacks.

State ended the hand with two-thirds of the chips in play, a dominant lead over the other two contenders.

Perone tossed in a bet of 600,000, being called by State. Perone sized up to 1,200,000 on the J♠ river, which State also check-called.

Perone gave State a thumbs up as he showed 9♦8♠ for nine-high. State had J♥J♣ for a set of jacks and took down yet another pot.

Adrian State limped in on the button with K♥8♥. Barnaba Perone followed suit in the small blind with J♥9♣, and Giorgio Soceanu checked his option in the big blind with 7♦5♥.

It was checked to State on the K♦8♣6♥ flop, and he put in a bet of 400,000. Perone quickly mucked, but Soceanu stuck around and called.

Soceanu then led out for 1,000,000 on the 2♠ turn, seeing State put in a quick call. Soceanu made a small increase to 1,500,000 on the J♠ river. S

State raised to 9,000,000, and Soceanu shook his head before folding his missed draw.
