Putz Puts Pressure on Vitti

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Arriving on the 63J10 turn, Andreas Putz checked from the hijack to Carlo Vitti on the button. Vitti then fired 7,000 into the pot of 23,500.

Putz responded with an all-in raise, covering the 24,000 total chips of Vitti. Vitti spent some time in the tank before he nodded his head and mucked his cards, surrendering the pot.

Della Longa Doubles Amidst Confusion

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Salvatore Floridia opened the action with a raise to 600 in middle position. Roberto Tasca then three-bet to 1,900 in the hijack, which Davide Della Longa bumped up to 5,100 from the big blind.

Floridia quickly got out of the way. Tasca asked how much the raise was, put in a calling chip, and exposed his cards, thinking his opponent was all in.

Tasca quickly realized his mistake and put his cards face-down again, after which the floor was called over. The hand was to be played out as normal, after which the dealer dealt the 987 flop.

To add to the chaso, Tasca acted out of turn as he put Della Longa all-in. Della Longa sighed but eventually put in a call for 8,200.

Davide Della Longa: AK All in
Roberto Tasca: AQ

Della Longa's Big Slick remained best on the 1010 runout, seeing him double back up to nearly a starting stack.

Sheils Left Short After Doubling Tbilisi

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Manolo De Vecchis in the small blind, Brandon Sheils under the gun, and Khazaradze Tbilisi in middle position had collected 9,200 in the middle when they went to a flop of 6J8.

It checked to Tbilisi, who made a bet of 9,400. De Vecchis quickly got out of the way before Sheils raised Tbilisi all-in for 20,400. Tbilisi snap-called and the cards hit their backs.

Khazaradze Tbilisi: KK All in
Brandon Sheils: A3

Sheils had an overcard and a flush draw, but neither came in on the Q7 runout. Tbilisi's kings stood strong and delivered him a big double-up.

Alex Sampirisi
Alex Sampirisi

The action was picked up on a turn of 610JA. Francesco Cortese checked from middle position to Alex Sampirisi in the hijack. Sampirisi then added 5,400 to the pot of 16,500, after which Cortese quickly moved all in.

Sampirisi eyed the bet of 17,000 for a few seconds before making a call with the covering stack.

Francesco Cortese: 1010 All in
Alex Sampirisi: AA

The set-over-set situation left Cortese wuth just one out, which did not arrive on the K river. He shook his head as he headed to the rail while Sampirisi stacked up his former chips.

Valduga Snaps Manfredi's Shove

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Catching the tail end of a pot between Roberto Manfredi in the hijack and Manuel Valduga on the button, Manfredi shoved his stack of 23,000 into a pot of 26,000 on a completed board of Q4655.

Valduga wasted no time putting in a call, risking his own stack of 15,700. Manfredi tabled KQ for top pair, but it was no good against the overpair of Valduga, who won the pot with his KK.
