Lo Faso Triples Back to Start

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Francesco Lo Faso had gone all in for 11,000 in the hijack. Mario Sarchioto rejammed for 30,600 on the button and was looked up by Fabio Bevilacoua in the small blind, who had both players covered.

Francesco Lo Faso: KQ All in
Mario Sarchioto: JJ All in
Fabio Bevilacoua : AK

The board ran out Q4954. Lo Faso won the main pot with his pair of queens, while Sarchioto basically broke even as he scooped the side pot with his jacks.

Bevilacoua paid off his debts and was left with less than half a starting stack.

Peter Doubles With Top Set

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Emilio De Angelis opened to 1,100 under the gun. Mischa Peter called in the small blind before big blind Guido Pieraccini made it 4,500 to go.

Both De Angelis and Peter called to the 46J flop, where Pieraccini continued for 5,500. De Angelis quickly moved out of the way while Peter stuck in his stack of 14,500.

A quick call followed from Pieraccini, revealing the cards.

Mischa Peter: JJ All in
Guido Pieraccini: 99

Pieraccini needed running nines against the set of Peter. The miracle did not come on the QA runout, and Peter doubled up instead.

Yushevych Rivers Parise

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Ankit Ahuja, Antonino Parise, and Dmytro Yushevych went three-way to a flop of 697. Yushevych checked from the big blind to Ahuja in early position, who also knuckled the table.

Parise then piled in his stack of 13,400 for an all-in bet worth more than twice the pot. Yushevych raised all-in as well, folding out Ahuja and creating a showdown.

Antonino Parise: 74 All in
Dmytro Yushevych: 86

Parise had the better pair, but Yushevych rivered an eight on the 98 runout to take the pot and send Parise to the rail.
