Salvatore Russo had raised preflop and Daniele Grasso had defended his big blind when the latter checked on the 6♦4♦9♣ flop. Russo continued for 160,000, which Grasso raised to 400,000.

Russo then put Grasso all-in for 1,200,000, and Grasso quickly called for his tournament life.

Galetta continued for 100,000, being check-raised to 250,000 by Nikitin. Galetta then pushed all in for 850,000 and was snapped off by Nikitin.
