Breuil Puts Albers in Blender
Gertjan Albers opened to 35,000 from early position, and received a call from Philippe Ktorza on the button, before Julien Breuil produced a three-bet to 155,000 from the small blind. Both of his opponents called.
On the A♦6♦6♠ flop, Breuil continued with a bet of 165,000, which only Albers called.
The 4♥ hit on the turn, and Breuil asked to see Albers remaining stack before jamming with the covering stack.
Albers looked pained and went deep into the tank, counting out his chips and looking downwards at the table, not looking at his opponent at all.
After about three minutes, Breuil said "You can't fold, no", but Albers didn't even glance up at his rival. Eventually Ktorza called the clock as Albers seemed unable to make a decision.
"Thank you" said Albers, and just before the tournament director arrived to begin the count, Albers got rid of his hand.
