Sebastien Guinand Leads 30 Players into 2026 PokerStars Open Namur Main Event Penultimate Day

The Circus Casino Resort in the Walloon capital of Namur has been absolutely rammed all week, as poker players from far and wide arrived to seek 2026 PokerStars Open Namur Main Event glory.

As we head into the penultimate Day 4, only 30 players are still standing from a massive 1,572-entry field and eyeing the life-changing €220,800 first-place prize, representing the lion's share of the huge €1,491,828 prize pool.

They are led by Frenchman Sebastien Guinand (5,630,000), who went on a late charge in Day 3, securing two crucial knockouts as play drew to a close.

Guinand has a healthy lead over his two closest challengers, German Manuel Schnur (3,355,000) and Brit Andrew Hulme (2,760,000), and there are plenty of quality players in the field capable of mounting a title challenge.

Guinand has a recent runner-up finish in a €1,100 PLO event at EPT Paris among total recorded scores of just under $300,000, and will be hoping to go one better here.

Schnur appears to have already secured a new career-best tournament score, while Hulme, the EPT Barcelona 2004 runner-up, is no stranger to deep tournament runs, having accumulated over $4.5 million in cashes in the course of his career.
