Fours Good for Kinane
Level 3
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
David Kinane opened to 800 in early position, and Daniel Schmertz three-bet to 2,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Kinane, who stuck in the call.
Kinane checked the 10♣Q♦2♣ flop and called again once Schmertz continued for 2,000. Both players then checked the 7♠ turn, and the dealer completed the board with the 2♦ river.
Another pair of checks led to showdown, where Kinane tabled 4♠4♣. That was enough to take the pot, as Schmertz mucked his hand.
