David Kaye Grows His Audience (And His Bankroll) at the 2023 NACOOP

David "DavidKayePoker" Kaye, who joined PokerStars in November of 2022, already has two titles and several final tables in the USCOOP, and it's taking his live stream to the next level.

Kaye is one of the early standouts in a series that has gained traction since online poker markets in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey opened up for play on PokerStars. The ambassador has been a standard bearer for the brand, and he’s enjoying every minute of it.

He streams regularly, and the COOP schedule allows him to present wall-to-wall action to his growing set of fans. He will be playing all 18 days of the USCOOP — 75 of the 77 no-limit hold’em events on the schedule.

“Even as a cash game player, the prestige of COOP as well as the excitement that the series generates is something I always love being a part of,” Kaye said in a recent interview.

Action folded around to the blinds, where Dean "BDGEJLM" Morrow called from the small blind and Andrew "and_porter" Porter checked their option from the big blind.

Morrow checked to "and_porter" on the 2♦3♣9♣ flop and they bet 7,000. Morrow then check-raised to 28,000 and Porter called.

Morrow check-called a 49,000 bet from Porter on the 3♥ turn and Morrow checked once more when the 5♣ completed the board. Porter bet enough to put Morrow all in for his last 148,260 and Morrow called.

Porter showed 8♥3♦ for trip threes, which was enough to eliminate Morrow, who held J♠9♠ for nines and threes.

Morrow reentered with fresh 300,000 stack following his elimination.

"Mufftetus" opened to 13,200 from early position and was called by "Aquatin" in the hijack and "BORgotyaOG" in the cutoff. "frozenn523" then squeezed to 72,000 from the small blind and only "Mufftetus" and "BORgotyaOG" called.
