Aces Get Eights This Time

In Level 35 with blinds of 40,000/80,000 and an ante of 10,000, the very next hand after "NAAAARD" doubled saw "gtl666" open to 240,000 in the hijack and call a three-bet shove to 875,000 from "LelandGaunt38", who was in the small blind.

"LelandGaunt38": {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
"gtl666": {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

For the second straight hand, pocket aces and pocket eights got all in. This time, however, stacks got in preflop with aces ahead and they remained there through the runout {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} to earn the double for "LelandGaunt38".

"NAAAARD" Gets Doubles Through "mord57" Again

On the last hand of Level 34 (35,000/70,000/8,750), "NAAAARD" was on the button and flatted a hijack-open to 175,000 by "mord57". Action went heads up to a flop of {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and "mord57" continuation-bet 280,000. "NAAAARD" jammed for 693,000 and "mord57" called

"NAAAARD": {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
"mord57": {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

"NAAAARD" had flopped top set and wound up holding on the turn {5-Spades} and river {2-Diamonds} to crack bullets and earn their third double of the level, bringing their stack up from crumbs to a total of 1.89 million. They are now second in chips with six still remaining.

"uwillmiss" Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,782)

"uwillmiss"
"uwillmiss"

In Level 34 with blinds of 35,000/70,000, "uwillmiss" and "NAAAARD" found two more doubles apiece as play continued. Nearing the end of the level, "POCKETNINEE" raised to 161,000 ;utg and action folded around to "uwillmiss" in the cutoff, who re-shoved for 1.02 million. Action made its way back to "POCKETNINEE" and they called.

"uwillmiss": {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
"POCKETNINEE": {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The third chance to double for "uwillmiss" proved to be too much to accomplish as their eights remained second best to their opponent's jacks through a runout of {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} and they finished the tournament in seventh place as a result, earning $1,782 for their efforts.

"Brother Justin" Elimianted in 8th Place ($1,310)

"Brother Justin"
"Brother Justin"

In Level 34 with blinds of 35,000/70,000 and an ante of 8,750, "POCKETNINEE" opened to 161,000 in middle position and "Brother Justin" three-bet jammed for 775,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to "POCKETNINEE" and they quickly called.

"Brother Justin": {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
"POCKETNINEE": {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

"Brother Justin" was unable to spike an ace as the board came {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and thy were eliminated from the tournament in eighth place.

Three Doubles on the Merry Go Round

Hand #1: In Level 33 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 7,500, "NAAAARD" shoved in early position for their last 159,000 and action made its way around to "mord57" in the big blind who called.

"NAAAARD": {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
"mord57" {k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Five blanks rolled off on the runout {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and "NAAAARD" secured the double with ace high.

Hand #2: Two hands later, "ButtonM@sher" jammed their last 334,000 in from the hijack and "uwillmiss" re-jammed in the ;cocutoffr 474,000, forcing everybody else out of the pot.

"ButtonM@sher": {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
"uwillmiss": {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

"ButtonM@sher" found a mircale flop of {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to pull ahead with a full house. They were able to hold as on the turn {4-Hearts} and river {10-Diamonds} to double, leaving "uwillmiss" with just 140,000 after the hand.

Hand #3: On the very next hand, "uwillmiss" jammed upon action folding to them in the hijack and received action from "NAAAARD" in the small blind.

"uwillimss": {j-Spades}{8-Spades}
"NAAAARD": {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}

"uwillmiss" was behind preflop and stayed there through the flop {3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} and turn {9-Hearts}, though they picked up four extra unnecessary outs to the river {8-Diamonds}, leaving them with eights up to score the double and leave "NAAAARD" as the short stack in the tournament once again.

Chip Counts on Break

Players are on a five-minute break in Level 33 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and an ante of 7,500. Eight remain on break, with "mord57" on top of the counts. Current stacks have been updated below.

"TegridyFarm$" Eliminated in 9th Place ($963)

"TegridyFarm$"
"TegridyFarm$"

In Level 32 with blinds of 25,000/50,000 and an ante of 6,250, "TegidyFarm$" shoved for 429,000 under the gun and saw "uwillmiss" re-shove for 628,000 in the hijack. All remaining players folded.

"TegidyFarm$": {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
"uwillmiss": {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"TegidyFarm$" did not want to see an overpair and they equally as much did not want to see a flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. They were then left needing to hit running straight outs to double or running clubs to chop, the former of which remained a possibility on the turn {4-Hearts}. Unfortunately for them, the river {10-Spades} bricked and they were eliminated in ninth place as a result.

"ButtonM@sher" Doubles Through "gtl666"

In Level 31 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and an ante of 5,000, action folded around to "ButtonM@sher" in the cutoff, who shoved for 406,000. "gtl666" called in the big blind.

"ButtonM@sher": {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
"gtl666": {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

"ButtonM@sher" went from being a slight underdog to flopping the nuts as {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{k-Spades} appeared. They were not completely out of the woods as the turn {q-Clubs} gave "gtl666" four outs at a full house, none came on the river {7-Spades} and "ButtonM@sher" secured the double.

Another Double Through the Chip Leader

In Level 31 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and an ante of 5,000, "gtl666" raised to 80,000 under the gun and saw action fold around to "mord57" in the big blind, who three-bet to 200,000."gtl666" four-bet jammed for 684,000 and "mord57" wasted no time calling.

"gtl666"; {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
"mord57": {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

"gtl666" was at risk of becoming the first elimination of the final table but the flop {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} wound up reversing their fortunes. They picked up a sweat on the tun {6-Spades} as "mord57" all of a sudden found themselves with a backdoor nut-flush draw, but it missed on the river {3-Hearts} and "gtl666" doubled as a result.

"mord57" Draws Massive Blood

In Level 31 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and an ante of 5,000, "mord57" opened the action with a raise to 92,000 in early position and action folded around to "Button M@sher", who defended their big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades} and "ButtonM@sher" checked. "mord57" made a ;c- of 120,000 and "ButtonM@sher" check-raised to 360,000. "mord57" called."ButtonM@sher" slowed down on the turn {3-Diamonds}, checking to "mord57", who also checked.

The river fell {j-Spades} and "ButtonM@sher" shoved for 611,000 effective and "mord57" immediately called.

"mord57": {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
"ButtonM@sher": {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The two hands shown were polar opposites, with "ButtonM@sher" showing pure air and running it into the second nuts of "mord57". The pot pot totaled over 2.19 million and was sent to "mord57", who became the chip leader with nine still remaining after doubling with their queens full.
