Double Knockout for "TheBigSlick74"

Blinds: 1,000/2,000

"FWhinks" had just lost most of their chips when they raised to 7,000 from early position, and next to act, "TheBigSlick74" three bet to 23,000. "cabby1234" called all in for that amount. "FWhinks" also tossed their final thousand in, and the cards were flipped.

"TheBigSlick74": {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
"cabby1234": {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
"FWhinks": {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} shot the big stack into the lead with trip eights, and the {3-Clubs} on the turn sealed the hand, giving "TheBigSlick74" a full house.

"DaWhale31" Bubbles The Event

Blinds: 2,000/4,000

Michael "fubadbeatbob" McNicholas, raised to 8,000 from under the gun, and three players called, including "DaWhale31" in the big blind. The flop came down {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and all four players checked. The {5-Diamonds} came on the turn, and "soccerdad29" fired 24,960. "DaWhale31" called, and McNicholas raised it up to 72,000. "soccerdad29" called, and "DaWhale31" called all in for less.

The {a-Spades} came on the river, and "soccerdad29" moved all in for the 110,000 that McNicholas had behind. He called with the same straight that "soccerdad29" had, and they chopped up "DaWhale31" on the button, as they had missed their flush draw.

The final 14 players remaining are now in the money!

"gibson8686isbk" Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,015)

Blinds: 3,000/6,000

"gibson8686isbk" limped in under the gun, and big stack "TheBigSlick74" raised it up to 27,000. "gibson8686isbk" called, and the flop came down {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. "gibson8686isbk" led for 9,000, only to see "TheBigSlick74" bumped it up to 64,890. "gibson8686isbk" moved all in for 211,000, and "TheBigSlick74" called to create one of the biggest pots of the tournament yet

"gibson8686isbk": {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
"TheBigSlick74": {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}

"gibson8686isbk" had flopped a straight, but "TheBigSlick74" had outs for a chop and a win. The {7-Clubs} turn gave them two pair, but it wasn't needed, as the {j-Diamonds} on the river gave the chip leader a winning flush.

"LetMeWin3437" Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,318)

Blinds: 3,500/7,000

"TheBigSlick74" raised to 17,500, and short stack "LetMeWin3437" called to see the flop of {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. "LetMeWin3437" checked to "TheBigSlick74", and after they continued for 11,000 and change, "LetMeWin3437" moved all in for 74,000.

"TheBigSlick74" called with {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for bottom set, and they were well out in front of the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} of "LetMeWin3437." A jack on teh turn gave them some outs on the river, but that card was the {q-Clubs}.

With that, just five players are left.

"TheBiggZigg" Eliminated in 4th Place ($2,314)

Blinds: 6,000/12,000

"TheBiggZigg" bumped it up to 36,000, and chip leader "TheBigSlick74" called from the big blind. The flop came down {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and "TheBigSlick74" check called a bet of 45,000.

The {q-Spades} hit the turn, and another check saw "TheBiggZigg" fire 102,000. "TheBigSlick74" clicked it back with a min raise to 204,000, and that bet was called to see the {9-Spades} come on the river.

"TheBigSlick74" moved all in, and "TheBiggZigg" called with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a straight, but it was no good, as "TheBigSlick74" showed {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a full house.

With that, just three players remain!

Blinds: 8,000/16,000

"TheBigSlick74" raised to 40,000, and in the big blind, "soccerdad29" reraised to 128,000. "TheBigSlick74" called, and the flop was {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. "soccerdad29" moved all in for 140,000, and "TheBigSlick74" called with {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for two pair. "soccerdad29" had an overpair of kings, and the turn and river didn't change the fate of the hand.

With that, play is now heads up.
