After quickly losing Lestingi in 9th, there was the first of two double eliminations at the final table. It was eventual runner-up "blue38bomber" who secured this one, when their big slick held up against two dominated hands.

"161joe161" would earn the other double knockout, and it was undoubtedly the most important pot of the tournament for the soon to be winner. They would flop bottom set on a flop that also gave "pokrherface101" top pair, while "pokaroka31"'s overpair was also miles behind.

The two players were fairly even to start heads up play, so they decided to strike a deal. After "161joe161" scored a massive double up with pocket aces, they would keep the pressure on, before securing the title in a coin flip situation. You can read those details right below.

This is just the start of the Pokerstars COOP coverage here on Pokernews. Over in Michigan, "Pillzebub" just took down a similar event to this, earning over $9,300.

Below you will see what events are still to come in the next two weeks. Pokernews will be providing extensive coverage for all of these, so be sure to come back on Wednesday for more poker action. Good night everyone!

"blue38bomber" Eliminated in 2nd Place *($6,479)

Blinds: 200,000/400,000

"161joe161" limped in, and after "blue38bomber" shoved for just under 4,500,000, "161joe161" called with {a-Spades}{8-Spades}. It was a coin flip, as "blue38bomber" showed {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, and the fives held up after the flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

However, a ten on the turn gave "161joe161" an unbeatable straight. Only an ace on the river would cause a chop now, but the {5-Clubs} came instead.

The two players made a deal earlier in heads up play, so "blue38bomber" will take a nice payday of $6,479, while "161joe161" will earn $7,507 for their efforts. Stay tuned for a full recap to be posted shortly.

"161joe161" Scores Massive Double Up With Aces

Blinds: 400,000/800,000

"blue38bomber" had taken a slight lead in the heads-up battle before this massive pot developed. "blue38bomber" raised to 800,000, and "161joe161" defended their big blind.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}, and after "161joe161" checked, "blue38bomber" moved all in for 11 million effective. It was a massive overbet to the pot, but "161joe161" called it off with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. "blue38bomber" showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} meaning any spade would secure the title for them.

However, the board finished out {7-Clubs} and {6-Hearts}, giving "161joe161" a commanding lead in this heads up battle.

"M45scdoo" Eliminated in 3rd Place ($4,149)

Blinds: 125,000/250,000

"161joe161" moved all in from the small blind, easily having "M45scdoo" covered. They called off their final 2,500,000 with {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and it was a flip against the pocket fives of the chip leader.

The flop of {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} kept "161joe161" in the lead, and a five on the turn sealed the hand to get us to heads up play.

"pokaroka31" Eliminated in 5th Place ($2,108), "pokrherface101" Eliminated in 4th Place ($2,958)

Blinds: 100,000/200,000

For the second time at this final table, there has been a double elimination, getting us quickly down to the final three. On this hand, "pokaroka31" raised to 400,000 on the button, and both blinds would call.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and it checked to "pokrherface101", who bet 662,500. "pokaroka31" moved all in for 2,748,608, and right behind them, "161joe161" moved all in over the top. "pokrherface101" called with {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, while "pokaroka31" showed an overpair of jacks.

However, they were both miles behind "161joe161", who showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for bottom set. The {3-Clubs} turn left "pokrherface101" drawing dead, and the {6-Spades} river secured the massive double KO for "161joe161", who now has over half the chips in play.

"Magxc" Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,503)

Blinds: 80,000/160,000

"Magxc" raised to 320,000 on the button, and "M45scdoo" defended their big blind. The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, and "M45scdoo" check called a c-bet of 320,000.

The {a-Hearts} saw "M45scdoo" check again, and this time, "Magxc" fired 960,000. "M45scdoo" went for it all, shoving all in, and "Magxc" called for just a little less with {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a set of nines. They were trailing the turned flush of "M45scdoo", {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, and "Magxc" needed the board to pair to survive.

That wouldn't happen on the river, and a huge pot was sent over to "M45scdoo."

"tbryantiv" Eliminated in 8th Place ($764), "Commodore Solly" Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,071)

Blinds: 70,000/140,000

"blue38bomber" raised to 305,000, and "tbryantiv" moved all in for 480,000 and change in the small blind. "Commodore Solly" called that bet, but "blue38bomber" moved all in over the top for over three million. "Commodore Solly" called for 2.3 million and change holding {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, while "tbryantiv" showed {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Both players were dominated by the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} shown by "blue38bomber", and they would never have to sweat the double knockout, as the flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts} all but sealed the hand. The {q-Diamonds} turn kept "Commodore Solly"'s miracle hopes alive, but the river didn't bring another queen.

Vince "FuglyFunGuy" Lestingi Crippled, Eliminated in 9th Place ($566)

Blinds: 60,000/120,000

"pokrherface101" limped in under the gun, and action folded all the way to Vince "FuglyFunGuy" Lestingi in the big blind. He moved all in for just over a million, and "pokrherface101" called for just a few chips less with {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. They were flipping against the sixes of Lestingi, and the sixes held on the {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. However, a ten on the turn quickly flipped the script, and an ace on the river changed nothing.

That hand left Lestingi with just 20,000 in chips, and he would lose those on the very next hand, busting out first at this final table.

"161joe161" Takes the Chip Lead

Blinds: 40,000/80,000

"161joe161" raised to 160,000 from under the gun, and the button called. In the big blind, "cabby1234" reraised to 640,000. "161joe161" moved all in for just over four million, and "cabby1234" called off their final three million with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. However, they were dominated by the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of "161joe161."

The board ran down {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and the king kicker played to boost "161joe161" up to over seven million.
